BEHIND THE LENS

The world of nature, large and small, is the inspiration for the photographs of Laura K. Bode. A self-confessed "gadget Gidget," Laura began trying to capture sunsets with her first Sony Mavica over ten years ago.

Laura finds in the natural world a peaceful balance to her highly technical day-to-day work in computer software sales and support. She believes her ear for music and lifelong love of singing have opened her inner artist's eyes to the visual richness around her as well, and she continues to explore new ways of seeing the world. All her photos are natural and not retouched.

Laura's hope is that those who view her photographs will find themselves smiling and enjoying a moment of peaceful getaway from everyday life.
